Potsdam-Golm BMBF

Research Project on Systems Biology

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) supports during five years beginning at January 1, 2007 by FORSYS (FORschungseinheiten zur SYSstembiologie)  four research centers in Systems Biology to enforce the quantitative comprehension of biological networks and regulation.

GoFORSYS proposes a Systems Biology approach towards the study of photosynthesis and its enhancement in crop plants. GoFORSYS is a collaborative effort of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biology at the University of Potsdam, the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology and the Max Planck Insitute of Colloids and Interfaces, all located in Potsdam-Golm.
