Core Competency:

Biophysics, Regulation of photosynthesis. Plant stress physiology. Methods include time-resolved, nonlinear and x-ray spectroscopy (including fluorometry), protein biochemistry (including chromatographic techniques).

Contribution to Work Programme:

WP2: Fluorometric and x-ray spectroscopic methods for energy and metabolite flux analyses.

WP3-4: Fluorometric and laser spectroscopic methods to elucidate photosynthetic efficiency, its regulation and stress analyses. Analysis of the composition of the photosynthetic apparatus in Chlamydomonas and plants. The major contribution of this partner will be to WP4.
