Core Competency:

Methods include metabolic profiling, integrated analysis of transcripts and metabolites, flux analysis.

Contribution to Work Programme:

WP2: Comprehensive analysis of the Chlamydomonas metabolome using FT-ICR MS; elucidation of the structure of many unknown compounds using a combination of stable isotope labelling and high resolution MS (FT-ICR MS); development of metabolomic flux analysis using MS techniques;

WP3-4: GC-TOF and FT-ICR MS based metabolic profiling; application of flux analysis to Chlamydomonas, Arabidopsis and tomato. The major contribution of this partner will be to WP3.
