Project Partners

Prof. Dr. Björn Usadel

Prof. Usadel has joint the Project in replacemant of Prof. Altmann at the end of 2009

Core Competency:

MapMan annotation for Chlamydomonas genes, Robin-tool for microarray data analysis

Contribution to Work Programme:

During 2010, the molecular network underlying Chlamydomonas was improved by improving the annotation and MapMan classification. This relates to WP1.2 as we now have an additional ontology for comparison across species. This is especially important as it has been shown (Usadel et al., 2009) that the MapMan ontology can be sued to compare the transcriptomic response across species. Furthermore by having thus improved the ontology Integrated data analysis (WP 1.3) becomes much easier, as different data sources can be integrated and visualized suing the MapMan ontology.
